@marta agreed. The singles comp has the cleaner version, but this album sequence makes more sense to me.

I only knew the later reissue. This cover has much better type, tiny detail but it changes the whole mood.

My copy has a little crackle in the intro and then opens up beautifully.

The liner notes mention the studio, but not the engineer. I keep meaning to look that up.
